Random Acts Of Kindness: Who is Mr. Humanity?

Anthony Mattera, more commonly known as Mr. Humanity, continues making major random acts of kindness waves on various social media platforms and has done so for the past three years. So, who is he, and how did he get a nickname that depicts compassion and kindness for the human race? It’s a question most people have, with the exception of those who’ve been around since the very beginning. Before adapting to this new name that he feels perfectly represents him and what he stands for in life, he was hosting the YANG 2020 Giveaway in July of 2019 with a vision of doing more for others to make a difference. It wouldn’t take long to go from giving away YANG to giving away cash in August 2019.

Prior to gaining notoriety as Mr.Humanity, Anthony went by other usernames on social media, including Yang 2020 Giveaway, People Giveaway, and Humanity Giveaway. However, the name Mr. Humanity would eventually stick with him because he’s known around the country as a caring, generous person always looking to lend a hand to someone who could use the extra assistance. From supporting local businesses to leaving thoughtful sticky notes, mowing a neighbor’s lawn, donating to food banks, and more, his willingness to do a small act of kindness is leaving a lasting positive impact on others. Enjoying the experience of helping the community and those in need, including the less fortunate and people genuinely down on their luck, he decided to keep things going, coming up with great ideas for a good cause that involves giving back while making things fun and entertaining for his followers.

MrHumanity Shows Random Acts of Kindness On Twitter and YouTube

In one instance, he posted a Tweet offering $10 cash for morning coffee to anyone who guessed the correct state he was in, giving everyone a fair chance to receive a free $10 to get coffee from their favorite coffee shop. In another instance, he surprised a random thrift store shopper by paying for their items! Of course, his willingness to give didn’t stop there. More recently, he blessed a single mother living out of a motel with $2000 to help her get back on her feet! It’s gestures like these that can truly change lives and make a big difference!

When Mr. Humanity started creating content and using social media as a platform to give back, he never could’ve anticipated that it would turn into what it has become. Although his YouTube career may have started by giving away YANG 2020 items in the summer of 2019, it has since blossomed into something incredible. Realizing he loved the feeling of giving back to others and seeing how it could instantly change their mood, he continued to develop surefire ways to make a positive impact through random acts of kindness. Small gestures like providing coloring books to kids, hosting a surprise birthday party, helping a new mom, meeting with sick children, and being there for someone going through a tough time can truly ease the burden that different people are experiencing each day.

Changing Lives Through Acts of Kindness and Generosity

Now focused on taking his team in a new direction while on a mission to give back like never before, Mr. Humanity is trying to up the ante, hosting giveaways that will make a difference and encourage others to be much kinder to one another. Over the past three years, he’s managed to give out more than $100,000 to various individuals, all of whom were well-deserving recipients of a lending hand, whether it was cash, gift cards, or valuable prizes that could put a smile on their faces.

As a leader of the Twitter Philanthropy movement, he has quickly become a household name over the past three years, with a pseudonym that rings bells because of his creative content regularly posted on various social media platforms. His goal is to spread kindness and generosity across the board as he uploads footage of his daily interactions with others to social media, such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, YouTube, and Cameo. It’s not hard to find him and see the good he’s doing in the world. In fact, you can’t miss him because his engaging content is easy enough to find just about everywhere!

Be the Change You Wish to See in the World

As a firm believer of the phrase, “Be the change you wish to see in the world,” Mr. Humanity is proving that you’re never too busy or prosperous to care for someone else and do something meaningful that can positively impact them. He has given out hundreds of thousands of dollars to those who can use it most, assisting struggling families and less fortunate individuals with no desire to stop anytime soon. Hoping to lead by example, he focuses on positivity and looks forward to brightening days for those going through the struggle of life. Running a nonprofit organization that focuses on random acts of kindness ideas, he’s willing to go the extra mile if it means helping someone, such as a new mom, child’s teacher, children’s hospital, elderly neighbor, or anyone else in between.

Leaving a Lasting Impact and Building an Honorable Legacy

Although there is so much negative going on in the world today, Mr. Humanity’s goal is to spread positivity, proving that random acts of kindness can change a person’s position in life, spread happiness, and ultimately make a difference. He wants the world to know that if we’re all focusing on helping others, we can become even better people on the inside, learning to have more compassion and empathy for those around us.

Because his quest isn’t over yet, and he hopes to bring joy to thousands more people over the coming years, he continues to raise funds through his donation page. Those who contribute to the donation page are supporting his journey of kindness and joining in on the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others. Aiming to make the world a better place, one act of kindness at a time, it’s all made possible by the generous donations of those who support the mission and want to bring people from all walks of life together.

With absolutely no plans to stop his mission of completing various acts of kindness each week, Mr. Humanity has embarked on a journey to do something kind for someone every day of the week. You’re probably saying to yourself, “How is it possible to help someone in need every single day? What if I don’t have money to do these acts of kindness for others around me?” And while he collects donations for a good cause to help others, there are plenty of ways to give back without spending a fortune.

If there’s one thing society can learn from the philanthropist and content creator, it’s that no act of generosity is too small. Simply waking up with a positive attitude and willingness to do good deeds can make a difference and help improve the lives of others, whether it’s a family member, friend, or even a complete stranger you’ve never met or talked to a day in your life.

Doing Good Deeds, Changing Lives

So, what are some good deeds others can do that are inspired by Mr. Humanity’s daily random act of kindness and his random acts of kindness week? You can make a care package for someone in need, whether a neighbor, a single parent or even someone in the military who could use a pick-me-up. Care packages are easy to make and are completely customizable, enabling recipients to receive items that bring joy to their faces and boost their spirits, no matter how bad things are going for them.

While care packages are one way to be kind and help others, he’s completed many other random gestures that benefit others. These gestures include paying for someone else’s goods at the grocery store, saying a positive comment to someone who looks like they’re having a bad day and volunteering at the animal shelter. In addition, you can follow in his footsteps by doing other good deeds, such as getting a gift card for a mail carrier, rewarding someone for their hard work, donating to the homeless shelter, and supporting a local school.

What Are Some Kind Things To Do?

When Anthony Mattera started this whole ordeal of giving things away, he never knew that such a small thing would turn into something incredible, but it has. It doesn’t matter where you’re from, whether you live in New Zealand, the United States, or anywhere else across the globe. Taking steps to be the positivity you wish to see in life will leave you feeling fulfilled while enabling you to help people who can use a shoulder to lean on from time to time.

It’s not hard to be kind. Being kind is the easy way to make a difference, even if you don’t have a lot or are going through struggles yourself. It’s how Mr. Humanity has come up with ideas on all these great ways to give back, whether saying a kind word or two, planting a flower garden for a neighbor, sharing good news, donating old clothes and so much more.

Are you willing to give back to your community and do things with real meaning behind them? Just imagine what someone else might be going through. If you can make someone going through a hard time smile and laugh for the first time in a while, how good would that make you feel? Make any day National Random Acts of Kindness Day. If you don’t know what to do, buy something for someone out of a vending machine, write a blog post with helpful tips for your readers, ask the next person you see about that person’s day, or even bake some homemade cookies for local police officers. You can do just about anything to turn someone’s bad day into a good one and achieve some of the most positive outcomes from your kind gestures.

A Small Thing Can Turn Into Something Amazing

After all, that’s what it’s all about. When Mr. Humanity started hosting giveaways, he loved seeing the joy it brought to the faces of many and quickly became even more excited to bring joy to others. Because he cares about the welfare of others and is naturally a good friend to those closest to him, he decided to be a good friend to anyone who needs one, no matter their age, where they live, or what their purpose is in life.

The next time you’re thinking about what you can do to make a difference and turn negative attitudes into positive attitudes, be the first to talk to the new kid, write an encouraging note to someone, help out a group of people in need, and focus on the small things that can improve an individual’s mental health. It’s impossible to predict what someone else is going through. You could buy Christmas gifts for a family in need or even donate school supplies to a local school to ensure every child has what they need! Your small gestures will have an impact on those around you, even more so than you might realize, much like the impact Mr. Humanity continues to make.

Known for traveling across the country to make a difference and touch the hearts of many, you never know when Mr. Humanity may be in a town near you and ready to do something positive. Through some of the simplest gestures, such as offering gift cards to others, paying someone’s parking meter, creating care packages, and completing community service activities, he’s spreading love and working hard to restore faith in humanity.

  3. I F**king love it! You and I are cut from a similar cloth. My mother said that since I was a baby all I’ve ever done is help others. Yes, that sounds strange, but it’s true. I was in pre-school helping others wash their hands, and tie their shoes. I’ve always rooted for, because I understand, the underdog. I was raised with the knowledge and understanding that maybe we didn’t have much, but many people had far less. I was born with the innate, intense understanding of how people work, what makes then tick, and I have been blessed and cursed with feeling what they feel. I know my purpose here in this life is to share everything I’ve been thru, to show that it’s possible to keep going no matter what!

  8. When I was a kid my family had money and my father was always helping everyone and anyone. Every Xmas he wld dress up as santa and go to nursing home and hospitals and he would take my brothers and I with him. And he would buy a ton of stuffed animals and we would give them to every patient we saw. And when I got really sick early on and had trouble he was always there and still now. And when my kids get new gifts we take an item from what they have so 1 for 1 and use them to either donate or give the ones in great shape to him for when he goes to the woman’s and children’s shelters, or homeless shelters. Still goes as Santa to this day. So I have Been on both sides and the difference this makes can mean the world to someone.
